Designing Spaces that Spark Creativity: How to Cultivate Inspired Energy

This past Sunday, I woke up feeling so ready, inspired, creative and so refreshed to get ready for 2021. We all know 2020 has been one hell of a year that has challenged us all on a completely new level, and it has been so tough, but I wanted to take some time to prep my workspace for the new year, work out a strategy for my business and blog in 2021 and just try and refocus myself completely to make 2021 the best year yet for TarrynChristy.com and myself.

I never realised how important it is to have a space that inspires you until I started feeling utterly uninspired sitting at my desk. My tiny little creative space in our apartment is meant to be the one place that brings me so much life, and positive creative energy, and it just was not doing that. No matter how many motivational quotes I put in front of me or on my desk, I just could not kick the feeling of being uninspired.

I decided to take the morning last week Sunday and completely reinvent and change my creative area. I moved the furniture, whipped out my crystal champagne glasses, my inspirational books, and Champagne Bottles, and put them everywhere around me. I wanted everything glamorous and inspired around me, and truthfully, it has worked wonders. The space you find yourself in constantly, needs to reflect everything about you, everything you love, and everything that inspires you, and if Champagne bottles are going to do that, I am all for it.

As we all evolve, grow, and change, we need to be open to changing everything around us. Sometimes moving your desk from the corner to a window can do wonders for your creativity. It is the smallest thing that often has the greatest impact.

Get creative with your space, your things, and your champagne bottles. Do not be afraid to move everything around to suit you and your current state of mind or the state of mind you want to be in. For me, I needed to spark my creativity, and the only way I was going to do that was by completely reinventing and changing my creative space to something more glamorous, inspired, and powerful.

2021 is going to be a year of complete reinvention, new beginnings, new opportunities, and so much more. Get a head start with making your space open to everything the new year has to offer.
