Each year we grow, evolve and change. Life happens and things change which forces us to change. Our perspective on life changes as well as our dreams, goals, and plans for the years to come.
Have you ever noticed that the moment you decide to up your standards and your expectations, your life immediately changes? Actually it upgrades? You are no longer available for things that no longer serve you, help you or grow you and that is exactly how it should be.
We should never settle for what doesn’t make us feel good, help us grow and evolve for the better. We should never stay in a situation or relationship that isn’t helping you the absolute best version of yourself.
If you are finding yourself in a rut that you just can’t seem to get yourself out of maybe, it’s time to ask yourself these few questions to help shift you into the best place possible for yourself and your future self.
What is keeping you in the rut you currently find yourself in?
What are you putting up with that you shouldn’t be putting up with?
What areas of your life do you need to upgrade?
Do you need to declutter and clean up your space and home?
Do you need to upgrade your intentions and plans for your health?
Who is the woman I want to be?
What do I want for myself and my future?
What do I expect from myself?
It is so important to evaluate ourselves. And this is something that we need to do often. It can’t just be done when we feel like we are stuck in a rut. The person you are today could be completely different from the person you were three days ago and important to value that, understand that and embrace it. We change every single day. Things happen, we read something that sparks a fire in us or we just reach a point where we know its time to change things up for the better.
Starting today why not start doing what’s best for you. And I dont want you to worry about this being selfish. because its not. It’s important! I am sure you have heard this a thousand times – you cannot pour from an empty cup. You cannot be there for others if you aren’t there for yourself. I fully believe that love starts with yourself first. It takes getting to know yourself 100% before you can be there 100% for those around you.
Go forth my babes and be there for yourself! You deserve it.
