Welcome to the 4th Interview Series with Benny Gallo – Fitness Instructor. I have had the pleasure of interviewing the inspiring, passionate and motivating Benny Gallo that is a Fitness Coach based in Beautiful California. Benny is incredibly passionate about fitness, documenting her journey around fitness and helping women find a balance without restrictions.
We need need more of what Benny is doing. She is promoting a healthy lifestyle without the need for those intense fad diets and restrictions. Benny promotes body positivity no matter your shape, size or form and this is what the world needs more of. Too often we are made to feel like size 0 or size 2 is the only perfect size. Or its the only beautiful size. All women are beautiful regardless of the size of their jeans and how much food they consume.

- What made you start your fitness journey?
I started my fitness journey at the age of 12 years old. I was always overweight, I was teased growing up and was very self- conscious. Growing up with two very beautiful skinny sisters was very hard because I was always compared. My brother’s wife gave me the tools I needed to get started and fall in love with fitness at a very young age.
- What are your future plans for your brand?
My future plan for my brand is to help women from the inside out. I want to continue growing and developing my fitness planners. I also want to design and create my own activewear line. I want my brand to empower women and feel they are capable of achieving anything in this lifetime.
- What advice would you give to someone that is just starting their fitness journey?
The advice I would give someone starting their fitness journey would be to identify what their WHY is. It is really important to know and understand what is motivating you to start a fitness journey. Having a strong enough reason will give someone the ability to push through the challenges, obstacles, and bad days. Also, be patient a fitness journey takes time and you don’t want a quick fix, but long-term success.
- What advice would you give to female fitness coaches, female entrepreneurs, and ambitious females out in the world?
The advice I would give female fitness coaches, entrepreneurs, and ambitious females are to never give up on their passion/goal no matter how tough it gets. The most rewarding thing in life is being able to do what you love, and what you were brought in this world to do.
- Where is one dream you thought was too big to achieve but you managed to achieve it?
One dream I thought that was too big accomplish was publishing my fitness planner. Planners are my obsession and so is fitness, and when I decided to create and design my own planner, I had no idea how I was going to do it. I also had no idea how I was going to put it out there for people. I did so much research and I was able to self-publish my fitness planner through amazon.
