I cannot believe that we are already 2 months into 2018. It feels like just the other day that we were still in the middle of 2017. I still find myself writing 2017.
Like I said in my previous post about the ups and downs I experienced in 2017. 2017 was a weird and challenging year for me. I do however have a feeling that 2018 will be a great year and great things will happen.
The beginning of a year is always a good time to reflect and write down what goals you are wanting to achieve for the year ahead. Also taking the time to write them down makes it more realistic and motivating.
THE GOALS I WANT TO ACHIEVE IN 2018
RUN A 10k MARATHON
I know, I know, everyone says they going to do this but never do. I’m giving myself a year to accomplish this goal and it must be done. I have always been an avid running and I honestly love running however as I started working, studying and basically just doing life, I stopped and never continued. This is something I will continue this year and I want to make it apart of my everyday lifestyle.
SAVE FOR MY TRIP TO NEW YORK CITY
My Fiancé and I went to Thailand in December 2017 and it was unconditionally incredible. Its safe to say I have the travel bug and before we where even packing our bags to come home from Thailand I was already planning our trip to the beautiful concrete jungle New York City. I have been completely and utterly obsessed with New York City since I was 16 and I will be going next year August. Now its just to buckle down and really save for this trip.
TAKE MY BLOG TO THE NEXT LEVEL
I started my Blog in January 2017 and even though I have had quite a few blogs before this one, I am incredibly determined to take the Tarryn Christy Blog to the next level. I am so passionate about blogging, writing about things I’m passionate and basically just getting my thoughts and words out there. I want to gain traction on my blog, create a brand that people love and motivate and inspire others.
BE MORE CONSISTENT
This goes hand in hand with taking my blog to the next level. For me to achieve that goal I need to work on being more consistent. I need to take a more consistent approach to my life and really take charge of how I spend my time and what I spend my time on.
GYM ATLEAST 4 TIMES A WEEK
I have a gym membership and I love how I feel after I hit the gym however I need to be more consistent and really create a routine for myself. I want to head to the gym 4 times a week and really train as much as possible. After all, I am 26 and I should be in the best shape of my life. This goal also goes hand in hand with me wanting to run a marathon. How am I meant to do that if I’m not fit enough? No excuses! Gym here I came!
Here’s to an epic 2018 and reaching all my goals!
