Good Morning Babes,

I’ve been thinking a lot about failure and how we look at failure. After speaking to many people about failure I have come to realise that we have all been taught to fear failure. We have been taught to fear what comes with failure but instead we should be taught to embrace it, learn from it, grow from it and eventually succeed from it.

We can change our outlook on failure. As we grow older, we can change our mindset and thoughts on failure and change what we have been taught.

The other morning, I was listening to a motivational YouTube video about failure and how we should embrace our failures because without experiencing failure there would be no success. And this hit hard for me. Just think about it. If we didn’t fail at least once we wouldn’t get that feeling of accomplishment after working incredibly hard for something and finally achieving it. Without failure you would get that feeling of ‘’ I finally did it. I finally achieved it and my hard work paid off’’. It’s true that without failure there would be no success.

Let’s look at Thomas Edison for example. When Thomas was asked about his many failures he responded with “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” Thomas Edison is proof that success does come even after you have failed 10 000 times. Thomas Edison is still one of the greatest inventors in history and he never let the opinion of others or his many failures get him down. He persevered and became a success.

We need to be open and willing to fail 100 times in order to reach succeed. Failure is a part of life and it’s something we need to learn to embrace and learn from.

Almost all successful people that you look up to have failed at least once in their life. Success doesn’t just happen immediately. It comes from trying repeatedly even though you have failed a million times before. Success comes from getting up each time you have been knocked to the ground from failure. Success comes when you decide to continue trying even though you have the entire world telling you that your idea or business isn’t going to succeed or work. Success comes when you believe in yourself and trust yourself even though you have failed many times before.
